Who are eligible to apply for this DV 2010 Lottery?

American Goverment every year opeartes this Diversity Visa program to maintain the diversity according to law by The American Congress. This year program will be called as DV2010. This program will issue permanant residency visas in America for 50,000 people who will be selected by computer random draw.
To participate in this Program people must be born in countreis which send less than 50,000 people to USA within the last 5 years. They must observe simple but strict laws which governs this lottery.


01. The person must be born in a country which is mentioned as eligible countrt by the U.S.State department. He must be more than the age of 18 years as for the eduaction requirement. There is no upper limit mentioned for the applicant in the program.

If you were born in a country which is ineligible for the lottery and you want to participate in the program, then you can claim in two other ways.


i. If your spouse was born in a country whose natives are eligible, you can claim your spouse'scountry of birth provided both you and your spouse are on the selected entry, are issued visas and enter the U.S. simultaneously.


ii. If you were born in a country which is ineligible for the lottery, but neither of your parents was born there or resided there at the time of your birth, you may claim nativity in one of your parents' country of birth if it is a country whose natives qualify for the DV program.

Pepople born in the following countries are not allowed to participate in the DV Lottery Program.
BRAZIL, CANADA, CHINA (mainland-born), COLOMBIA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, ECUADOR, EL SALVADOR, GUATEMALA, HAITI, INDIA, JAMAICA, MEXICO, PAKISTAN, PHILIPPINES, PERU, POLAND, SOUTH KOREA, UNITED KINGDOM (except Northern Ireland) and its dependent territories, and VIETNAM. Persons born in Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan are eligible.


02. I f you want to participate in this program you must have one of the following qualifications.

i. A high school education or its equivalent, defined as successful completion of a 12-year course of elementary and secondary education,
It is important that you must have passed successfully your High School Examination with passes in compulsary subjects.

OR

ii. Two years of work experience within the past five years in an occupation requiring at least two years of training or experience to
perform. The U.S. Department of Labor's O*Net OnLine database will be used to determine qualifying work experience. For more information about qualifying work experience.

IF YOU ARE NOT HAVING THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS DON'T PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM.
